What to do in Wellington New Zealand

The capital city of New Zealand Wellington is known as the ‘Coolest Little Capital in the World’ and there are plenty of Wellington Festivals that offer great entertainment. This  compact city has funky shops, exciting galleries and great restaurants that are all within easy walking distance of the centre. The city has long been recognized as the cultural and arts capital of New Zealand (with festivals almost every month), and is home to the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the Royal New Zealand Ballet, opera companies, theater and a large number of art galleries, including the National Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.
