Kaiteriteri - Bark Bay

We depart Kaiteriteri and cruise past the renowned Split Apple Rock, Adele & Fisherman Islands. Mid-day we have a delicious lunch onboard in a quiet bay just before we set out for a easy walk from Torrent Bay to Bark Bay.

You'll see the antics of New Zealand Fur Seals and we will later sail onwards to Anchorage Bay and stay onboard. In the evening we have time for an adventure, we will go see glowworms and cave wetas.

Anchorage Bay - Tonga Island

This morning we have time to kayak or dinghy into Shag Harbour before we cruise the coastline and set sail to Awaroa. Explore the shallow waters of the lagoon and take a walk to Totoranui. On the afternoon sea breeze we will go to Tonga Island, which is a popular place to spot the New Zealand Fur Seals. viewing Cathedral Rocks and stopping to explore the stunning beaches and bays.

The night will be spend on anchor with plenty of time to explore the facilities of the yacht.

Tonga Island – Kaiteriteri

We will use the morning breeze to anchor in Onetahuti where you can take a walk to Bark Bay. 

You will also have plenty of time to relax in the hammock, to try some fishing, to swim in the water, or to kayak. Take the time to explore Falls River, and the bays and beaches before we have to set sail back to Kaiteriteri and end our adventure on the water.

About Your Cruising Catamaran

She is a large, stable and comfortable cruising catamaran, 13.5 metre or 45 feet in length with large open flat deck areas. Covered cockpit and indoor areas for shelter from sun and wind, the yacht sails flat and stable - reassuring to those new to sailing. 4 large cabins: 2 queen cabins with ensuites, 2 cabins with double and single berth.

Cabins are private doubles or twin share. Private or share bathroom. Three showers including hot deck shower, 2 toilets & hand basins, modern music system with outdoor speakers, fitted deck BBQ, hammock, fishing & snorkelling equipment, sit on kayaks, library & games locker, inflatable tender & outboard, gas fire. Ideal for all ages and sailing abilities. No experience necessary and free sailing lessons. You can either take the helm or just sit back, relax and enjoy.
