Jo was very skilled in the way she helped our family choose our itinerary — her suggestions were spot on, and she was immediately responsive to any changes or questions we had. Our trip to New Zealand was in celebration of the 20th anniversary of our wedding in Queenstown and we had a fabulous time experiencing this beautiful country with our teenaged daughters! SUPER!! The team at First Light created the perfect combo of activities for our family of 5 adults on North and South Islands. They asked all the right questions to tailor activities and accommodations along our 2.5 weeks of travels. I am an avid traveler, very capable in travel planning myself, but started too late in planning our Christmas/New Year trip (6 months in advance - take note!) First Light managed to pull together excellent lodging for us, and took all pressure off - it was wonderful! First Light Travel was amazing. We found it by searching New Zealand itineraries and found they could do private tours for groups. Our extended family of 12 had a fabulous time! Everything Sofie recommended was beyond our expectations! We had 2 great drivers and lots of time to do what we wanted yet not waste time getting lost. We saved a couple extra days at the end to rent a car and adventure on our own which was perfect!! I can't say enough wonderful things about Sofie and this travel company!

My daughter and I have taken a once in a lifetime trip every summer to experience what the earth has to provide us. We decided on New Zealand with First Light Travel after speaking with many other agents. Mr. Howell had the perfect plan for us to travel the North Island in a weeks time. Driving New Zealand was beautiful and extremely easy to travel from country road through the beautiful green hills and along the beach towns on the upper east coast.

They planned every day with an exciting adventure and accommodations were perfect! Contact through email was very easy to correspond different ideas of the trip. Could not ask for a better experience of New Zealand!
