What Elizabeth says about this tour: What I really like about this cruise is that it takes you deep into the remote southern fiords of Fiordland, where the scenery feels truly untouched and incredibly dramatic. Travelling by small expedition ship means you can quietly explore hidden coves, waterfalls and wilderness areas that larger vessels simply cannot access. I also love the mix of wildlife, history and nature throughout the journey, from dolphins and penguins to fascinating Māori and early European stories. It feels adventurous yet relaxed, with every day revealing another spectacular corner of New Zealand’s deep south.
