We had a wonderful time. The trip was well planned, with a balance of doing and seeing, activity and relaxation. Am not sure how I found First Light Travel on the internet, but am extremely happy to recommend First Light, and particularly you, Shelley, to all who might be going to visit your wonderful country.

Thank you so much for all of the arrangements you made for us. We really had the most fantastic trip. It was a great mix of everything. Your country is so amazingly beautiful! The highlight for us had to be the Waitomo caves. First off, Angus and Rachael at Te Tiro Pioneer lodge are truly fantastic hosts. You might mention, they have a BBQ available for guests and they had breakfast included. This was easily our favorite place to stay. After spending the evening talking with them, we wished we had been booked with their blackwater rafting company (would have been a nice tie in).

That said, the Lost World Adventure tour was INCREDIBLE!!! We had an absolute blast! Our guides were fun, informative, and! challenged us throughout the trip, having us crawl through the tightest squeezes and climb the hardest routes. This was most rewarding single day adventure we had.

We also had a great time in Queenstown. We both did the Nevis Bungy (twice!), tried River sledding with Mad Dog, and hiked a bit of the Routeburn trail. Wish we'd had more time here to do some of the tramps around Milford Sound. I guess we'll have to come back!

We had a fabulous trip to Australia and New Zealand. Your arrangements allowed us to see/visit the places and do the things we wanted to do. We really liked your ‘voucher system’ and all the merchants happily accepted these vouchers. It saved us from cashing a lot of money or always using our credit cards

Thank you First Light Travel!!! (especial thanks to Verity and Brent). New Zealand is a wonderful place that has SO MUCH to offer. FLT helped navigate through all the best adventures we had our heart set on. I loved having the voucher packet and the independence of being on our own on the open roads with a rental car (with the reassurance that we had someone looking out for us). We had some weather issues but were able to make the best of it because Verity/Brent were available to help us change plans (even last minute over New Years!). We accomplished a heroic amount in two weeks: both islands 10+ activities in different cities. We had so much fun! Yay for FLT!

Our trip to the North and South Islands was a trip of a lifetime, thanks to Shelley! Our itinerary was perfectly planned and paced. Our first week was organized around the Milford Track Guided Walk with Ultimate Hikes, and we traveled up the South Island before concluding our trip sightseeing in Rotorua and Auckland on the North Island. Our itinerary was the most detailed we've seen, replete with suggested activities, descriptions of our accommodations (including the owners' names-very helpful), and information about Air New Zealand baggage limits. The travel and activity vouchers made our trip a snap, and our accommodations were expertly hand-picked. Shelley was wonderful to work with. She was responsive, detailed, and quick to answer our numerous questions.

We would definitely recommend Shelley and would enjoy working with her again!
