New Zealand Self Drive Tour Reviews

My travel to New Zealand was not a standard one because I had quite some wishes and also wanted to include a horse riding holiday in it. Surfing the internet to find a company that could realise all this I came across First Light Travel. And Judith Pohn! What a relief to find out that there are still people like her to fulfill your wishes! It took some emails back and forth but eventually she composed the perfect trip for me. Thanks to First Light Travel and Judith my 6 weeks in New Zealand run really smoothly and left me with an unforgettable memory of the country! I can highly recommend both her and FLT!

Our first (and definitely not last) trip to New Zealand was amazing and working with First Light enabled us to tailor the experience to our preferences. Coordination and communication were pleasant and efficient. We enjoyed all of the recommended sites in the itinerary and driving ourselves from each location enabled us to pace ourselves well and even visit some really fantastic points of interest we would otherwise not have discovered if we had taken a standard tour group. The timing of our vacation was also ideal due to the great weather conditions and uncrowded locations/sites. It’s been some time since we’ve been back, but I had forgotten to reach out to thank you! Our trip was amazing! All the plans were easy to follow and our trip went very smoothly.

We were very lucky that we had good weather for the (absolutely amazing) glacier hike, and I’m especially grateful for the suggestion to travel to Punakaiki for the glow worm cave tour, since we enjoyed that so much! I attached a couple pictures of our adventure.
