Our trip to New Zealand was more than we expected and we expected a great deal. Dealing with Shelley Kirk was an absolute joy. Her knowledge of NZ was exceptional. Just as important, she was friendly, professional, courteous, and funny...all at the same time.

Our two weeks of travel in NZ was hassle free. What a joy and relief to travel in a foreign country and know we received the absolute best value for our investment.

The service we received from First Light Travel was excellent and the hard work by Jo Taylor made all the difference. We came to Jo with a blank sheet of paper stating roughly what we would like to do and the type of accommodation we would prefer. Jo came back quickly with an initial plan which, after a few minor changes, became our itinerary. She kindly included our own arrangements, where we were staying with relatives in New Zealand, which made the Itinerary document complete.

We were very happy with the choices that Jo made for us and we had a lovely time.

We just wanted to drop you a note to thank you again. Our experience at the Watermark Studio Apartment was a highlight of our holiday in New Zealand. The floors were beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the matching lounge chairs were great for relaxing reading while drinking some Waiheke wine from Man O’ War vineyards. The wall of glass has such a great ocean and coastline view that we were glad we kept our day of island adventure short. Every so often we would stop, glance at the picturesque scene, and savor the experience. It was such a wonderful place to relax in such a gorgeous country. While it may seem funny to some, another highlight was the breakfast. Thanks for the fresh kiwi!

Not sure if you are interested in our pictures, but here are just a few. Amy took the one of the wooden bench with an iPhone. It tops all the photos I took with my fancy Canon SLR! It’s going on our wall along with many others.
