From start to finish, we had first-rate guidance from our First Light Travel agent, Shelley Kirk. She chose wonderful high spots on both Islands, picked varied accommodations which added to the trip and which always put us in great locations, scenic in the countryside, central in the cities. There was never a glitch in either lodging or transport--a real feat for a nineteen day trip that covered the country. Our B&B hosts, our yacht captain, our tour guides, were rich in lore, history and information, and above all infectious in their enthusiasm for the country and eager to answer all questions about New Zealand. The Maori part of the trip--the villages, the evening dinner and performance, the museums, added richly to our experience.

Hi Shelley, George and I are finally back in the USA! We want to thank you for helping to make our trip an amazing experience. Without your expertise, there are places we would never have gone and some lovely B&B hosts we never would have met!

Thanks again,

Fran and George Singer

Thanks to Chrissy, our jam-packed tour of New Zealand's two islands went flawlessly. We enjoyed a perfect mix of general touring, activities in the spectacular outdoors, and cultural exploration with enough time to squeeze in some wine-tasting in New Zealand's justifiably lauded wine areas. We will be looking forward to a return trip.

Hi Jo, Yes, the trip was wonderful. We had a great time. Specifically the cruise in Dunedin unearthed a friend of an old friend. Loved the Larnach Castle. As mentioned previously, Steve Hanrahan, our driver to Queenstown was fabulous. In Addition to driving, we stopped at Gibbstown Winery and Arrowtown. We upgraded to a junior suite at the Rydges which we liked a lot. The cycling experience proved challenging 3 x 25 year olds and us. But fun any way. Matt the driver was very cool delightful and reliable. Wellington, though a rainy, was wonderful. We visited Te Papa, with an incredible Gallipoli exhibit a fabulous Cyndy Sherman exhibit at the City Gallery and a tour of Parliament. We had dinner at Dockside on the Harbour. The Sofitel was fabulous. We loved it and our room. The Saturday tour was great and our guide, Daniel, delightful. Likewise our Sunday venture to Wakaike ( sp?) very pleasant. Carmen our guide very good. She took us to an artist's home and we are contemplating buying a piece.

All in all a fabulous trip!
