From the very first email from FLT offering to work on the itinerary to the whole holiday experience, was the smoothest, most convenient and awesome experience. NZ by itself is the MOST AMAZING place on the planet. With friends at FLT it undoubtedly was a once in a lifetime family holiday.

We had a really great trip and a lot of it was due to Suzies knowledge of New Zealand and her ability to customize our particular requirements. The pace of our trip turned out to be perfect as we covered a lot of ground in a very short period of time but didn't feel rushed.

She was available when we ran into trouble due to illness and an act of God. She went out of her way to help us out and to work refund issues with one of the tour operators. She was of immense help in rejigging when the Milford Road was closed and through phone calls and emails guided us as to replan our last two days in Fiordland. What could have been a huge disappointment turned out to be two of the best days of our trip. One can not underestimate the importance of the service provided by First Light once we began our tour.

All in all, a great and memorable trip. Thanks Suzie and First Light.

We just wanted to drop you a note to thank you again. Our experience at the Watermark Studio Apartment was a highlight of our holiday in New Zealand. The floors were beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the matching lounge chairs were great for relaxing reading while drinking some Waiheke wine from Man O’ War vineyards. The wall of glass has such a great ocean and coastline view that we were glad we kept our day of island adventure short. Every so often we would stop, glance at the picturesque scene, and savor the experience. It was such a wonderful place to relax in such a gorgeous country. While it may seem funny to some, another highlight was the breakfast. Thanks for the fresh kiwi!

Not sure if you are interested in our pictures, but here are just a few. Amy took the one of the wooden bench with an iPhone. It tops all the photos I took with my fancy Canon SLR! It’s going on our wall along with many others.
