Jo was very skilled in the way she helped our family choose our itinerary — her suggestions were spot on, and she was immediately responsive to any changes or questions we had. Our trip to New Zealand was in celebration of the 20th anniversary of our wedding in Queenstown and we had a fabulous time experiencing this beautiful country with our teenaged daughters! The assistance we got from First Light Travel made our trip smooth, easy and enjoyable – we can't wait to return!

SUPER!! The team at First Light created the perfect combo of activities for our family of 5 adults on North and South Islands. They asked all the right questions to tailor activities and accommodations along our 2.5 weeks of travels. I am an avid traveler, very capable in travel planning myself, but started too late in planning our Christmas/New Year trip (6 months in advance - take note!) First Light managed to pull together excellent lodging for us, and took all pressure off - it was wonderful! I highly recommend First Light, our bookings were well organized, with much local knowledge added to the itinerary.

Chrissy Sun planned a perfect trip for us to New Zealand. She built an itinerary based on our likes of hiking and beautiful scenery. She arranged all transportation within New Zealand, every car, train , plane and boat ride. It was so easy to just hand the voucher to the agent or hotel reception clerk and off we went. We thought this was a once in a lifetime trip but would love to go back. Kudos to Chrissy Sun for helping us have a great holiday.

The car hires went seamlessly; the accommodation was superb and the trips and activities were brilliant, informative and exciting. Our highlights being the helicopter onto the Franz Josef Glacier, Doubtful Sound cruise(the weather was kind) and the Dart River Jet Boat Safari although picking favourites is probably doing an injustice to the others.

We just returned from 3 wonderful weeks in New Zealand with our best friends. This was a trip of a lifetime and Amelia worked with us to make sure we could jam as much as we wanted into our time. We snorkeled and scuba dived, dawn hiked the Tongariro Alpine pass, marveled at the glow worms at Black Water Rafting, enjoyed the eye-watering but beautiful thermal wonders of Waitotapu, canoed down from the Bridge to Nowhere. In the South Island, we loved cycling to the wineries of Blenheim, hiked everywhere we could around the Glaciers, had an amazing Horseback trek through forest and over rivers to a sunset ride on the beach. Ended our time in Queenstown with jet boating and jumping off high cliffs with the Canyon Swing. We had several glitches along the way- some caused by the tour operators, some caused by weather and wildfires, but Amelia worked with us to make sure everything stayed on track.
