Just back from a whirlwind tour of NZ with First Light and Amelia did an awesome job of reading into levels of activity and accommodations. They all surpassed our expectations. We maybe had a little too much driving but that was our doing as we knew we wanted to “see it all” in only three weeks. Would we do it again. In a heartbeat and Amelia would be our go-to person.

I can not say enough good things about First Light Travel and Chrissy Sun, the planner who assisted me in planning my incredible New Zealand 14-day self-drive adventrue! Being under a time crunch to plan my vacation, Chrissy understood and quickly put my mind at ease. After giving her a vague wishlist of what I would like to see and do, she quickly went to work and planned out all the details. She ensured there were no questions or concerns left unanswered before I was scheduled to depart. Chrissy planned an adventure that covered the North and South Island. It was quite the ambitious schedule, but I knew I was up for the challenge. We had a fantastic time in NZ as usual.  I have just sent through a small selection of photos from some of our activities.

All tours were amazing and I must say the twilight tour of the Kauri trees near Opononi was something else.  Our guide, a Maori lady, told us all the stories, sang songs, said prayers, etc.  It was goose bumps all the way.  Canyoning was amazing, horse riding something we will never forget.  Everything was wonderful.

Flawless trip! First light was recommended by our friends. From the moment we connected with Jo, she was on top of making sure our trip was planned and that we were able to accomplish all of our travel goals. She took careful note of the activities we wanted to do, and gave us great recommendations on activities that she thought we should do. Every day was perfectly planned out, from what time to leave, an accurate description of the activity, and other recommendations to do in our (very little)downline. My Husband and I were only able to visit NZ for 2 weeks and somehow Jo managed to get us to all of our destinations with a couple extra stops along the way.
