I can't say enough good things about our travel agent with First Light Travel. We had a vacation of a lifetime. It was better than we expected and we give most of the credit to Amelia Riwai for her recommendations and the way she accommodated our requests. From the tropical forests to the glaciers all the scenery was magnificent, even the misty, cloudy days were beautiful. Being able to be so close to the native wildlife was great. It was almost as if you couldn't take a bad picture because everything was so beautiful.

Chrissy did an outstanding job of taking our interests and time allotted, and creating a magical, unforgettable self-drive vacation for our family! We had exactly 2 weeks, not counting travel days, and Chrissy managed to make the most of that very short time, as we drove from Auckland to Queenstown, hitting all of the highlights in between, and arranged fabulous excursions for us with top-notch professional outfits. She arranged exactly the car we needed, the flights and times we needed, and wonderful accomodations on top of everything. We have several friends here in the states who are planning a New Zealand vacation, and and we will definitely recommend First Light Travel and Chrissy Sun!

Dear Kasey,

Thank you so much, for putting together our trip to WA. We had a wonderful time. Everything was well arranged right from the start. We had a perfect pick up at the airport and a nice hotel in the middle of the centre in Perth. All the accommodations were good, it was each time a surpise to see and find out where we would sleep. Almost all the accommodations where in or near the city centre, so easy to go out for a walk and have dinner.

The Maragret Discovery Tour and the Cape le Grand tour was fantastic.The local guides showed us beautiful places and could tell us a lot from the place and its history In Kalgoorlie we booked the Super Pit Tour. It is advisable to prebook this tour, we were lucky there was a cancellation in the morning, otherwise only two of us could join the tour.

At Rottnest Island we had a really special and wonderful host, Irene. A lady from over 80! We really liked her company, but I think it is not necessary to have a host at Rottnest. I think we were the only, walking around with a host.

We took loads of pictures. I included some, so you have an idea of our trip.

WA is a beautiful part of Australia.

We had one wonderful time in your beautiful country. Dmitry could not have been a better guide/driver/friend. Every detail was well taken care of. 

Overall our impression of everything First Light does is and was first class. One of our friends (In India for a few months) says she wants to talk to us about the trip and how we planned. I will let you know when Helen returns to the US.

I had several conversations with them and from that they put together an itinerary that was perfect for our group given what we hoped to accomplish, as well as booked all our accommodations and activities for our time on the road. Our vacation experience could not have been better. Dawn developed an itinerary for us which suited all of our needs and was perfect for us and the children. She carefully spaced things out so we had enough time to get places and to our activities. Having never been to New Zealand before, I was not sure what was in store for us - but it all worked perfectly.

We had an amazing day with tour guide Debbie, who drove us through the Waiheke island, showing us the most beautiful spots.

Also we did two wine tastings at very special wineries and an olive oil tasting, which all were very good and interesting! Debbie welcomed us when we arrived with the ferry and was from the outset on very interested in us and gave us a very special experience, explaining everything you want to know about the island and more.
Before we knew the day was over, but it was for sure not our last visit to Waiheke Island.
