Wilderness Kayaking Doubtful Sound

WELCOME TO THE SOUND OF SILENCE

Two full days of guided kayaking in the pristine wilderness of the unspoilt Sound of Silence, home to fur seals, bottlenose dolphins, crested penguins plus overnight camping in the ancient podocarp forest with its native birds and lush tree ferns.

Each day involves about 5 hours kayaking and in the evening we chill out at base camp nestled in the forest up Hall Arm. Nearby a freshwater stream flows quietly and bird song is often heard.

With loads of experience operating in this remote wilderness, this is a fantastic small group overnight kayaking experience.

Please Note: This tour starts and finishes in Te Anau (Transfers can be arranged from Queenstown)
