- An Afternoon at French Farm Winery

Enjoy superb cuisine in a simply stunning location. Estate wines include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling. Enjoy a 3 course luncheon with wine (included) and then relax in the beautiful garden setting or maybe a post lunch game of petanque. On the way home, stop at the cheese factory at Barry’s Point to sample some of the areas best cheeses. Bon appetit!
- Dolphin Experience

Swimming with dolphins is something special, especially as here you can watch or swim with the rare Hector’s Dolphin, one of the world’s smallest & rarest dolphins and only found in New Zealand. The Dolphins Up Close catamaran will take you in close to enjoy the grace and beauty of these marvellous mammals. Swim or watch the choice is yours. All equipment is supplied.

- Six Stream Horse Trek

A different way to explore the beauty of this region. Relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the inner harbour, native trees and wildlife. Never ridden before? No problem, this trek is suitable for all ages and levels of experience. Longer and more challenging treks for the experienced rider are available upon request.

- Akaroa Harbour Cruise

Experience a rich variety of marine and birdlife in their natural habitat as your Catamaran gently slices through the emerald green waters of the harbour. You’ll see the unique and playful Hector’s Dolphin, Little Blue Penguins, and Fur Seals, often seen basking on the rocks close to the harbour entrance.

- 4 Wheel Bike Safari

Explore the rugged terrain of the Banks Peninsula on a thrilling guided 4 Wheel Bike ride through spectacular scenery. Ride through the ancient native forests of the Akaroa Heritage Park to the summit where you can view Ontario Bay on the Pacific Ocean on one side and the inner harbour on the other. No experience needed as the bikes are very easy to ride.

- Guided Nature Walk

From Akaroa, walk over the hills at the back of the town to Purple Peak. Enter the nature reserve and walk through native bush that frame superb views of this charming peninsula. The return track crosses open pasture from where we can enjoy the backdrop of the sea and many inlets. Lunch is provided. Based on a minimum of 2 passengers walking.
