Newsletter - October '04

Kia Ora

The days are getting longer and warmer, which can only mean one thing – summer is on it’s way. It’s also starting to get really, really busy with interest and bookings over the peak season from December through to the end of March, and we’ve already seen accommodation in the more popular holiday locations book out. In some cases we’ve still got our secret supplies, but if you’re planning to travel over those months don’t leave it too late, or you better bring your tent!

A lot has changed since our last newsletter, including that we are now able to offer more competitive prices on international flights and travel insurance than we were before. We’ve also added a number of South Pacific destinations to our portfolio, including Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu and Australia.

In this month’s newsletter:

New Maxi-yacht sailing tours

Join this two-night live-aboard voyage exploring the coast between Auckland and the Bay of Islands. Steeped in a vast and colourful history, this sailing adventure is more diverse and dynamic than any other in New Zealand and is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Become the crew of the late Sir Peter Blake’s 1985 Whitbread Round the World challenger, the legendary ‘Lion New Zealand’. Explore the 120 nautical miles of rugged coast and view the abundance of marine life.

The best thing about these tours is that you can participate as much or as little as you like. So you can either take a relaxing cruise, or be a full part of the crew of this beautiful racing yacht.

You can do the two night tour from Auckland to the Bay of Islands or vice versa. Trips depart regularly right through the summer months. You can get the full details on our website.

The sheer diversity of vegetation and wildlife in this one valley is truly unparalleled. The three day small-group trips include the services of a professional and experience guide, lodge accommodation and fine dining, transfers from Queenstown and a scenic flight to Milford Sound

And we also have access to comprehensive travel insurance through Mike Henry Insurance. In both cases just let us know your requirements and we will source the best available quote for your part of the world.
