Fly by Wire is the world's first adventure flight offering full pilot control of a high speed tethered plane. The plane is suspended from an overhead suspension point, which allows the high speed flight anywhere within the spectacular deep canyon. There are two Fly by Wire rides in New Zealand, one in the North Island, at Paekakariki, just north of Wellington, and the other in the South Island, at Queenstown - the "Adventure Capital of the World!"

Fly by Wire was invented and patented worldwide by Neil Harrap and has been engineered to exceed all the applicable New Zealand and Australian standards.
