Lower Rangitaiki
The Lower Rangitaiki offers 2 hours of enchanting introductory rafting suitable for first timers, families with young children and the mature adventuer, who want to experience a relaxing river rafting journey in the great outdoors.
Commencing from the spectacular Aniwhenua Falls, this gentle introductory rafting takes you through sheer vertical gorges lined with native bush, pine forests and dramatic rock formations. These gorges are plentiful in cascading waterfalls and a rich variety of playful bird life.
Transport can be provided from Rotorua departing at 10.30am or you may
wish to meet at the Aniwhenua Falls at 11.30am, which is the starting
point for this adventure. The cost per person for this adventure is Adults

Rangitaiki
The Rangitaiki River trip is an incredible two hour whitewater journey that Wet'n Wild runs every day.
It is perfect trip for rafters of all confidence levels including those who have never rafted before. Featuring 14 km of exciting grade three and grade four rapids, it is liquid fun from top to bottom.
Passing through spectacular native bush and planted forest, this river trip takes you away from the urban world into a special New Zealand environment of pristine beauty and peace.

Wairoa
The Wairoa is one of New Zealand's most exciting raftable rivers, and one of the most popular, with an impressive line up of full-on white water action. Day Itinerary
- Day 1 - travel by vehicle to the starting point at the Lower Mohaka. Ease into the whitewater action on grade 2-4 rapids in preparation of the rapids to come. Camp overnight.
- Day 2 - tackle awesome and technical grade 4 5 rapids for the whole day and return to the meeting point by vehicle.Please note with this overnight option any gear not required during the day can be transported by vehicle to the camp site.
Motu (grade 3-5, 2-4 days)
The Motu River flows through the rugged Raukumara Ranges near Opotiki on the East Coast. This totally unique river is renowned for its unspoiled beauty and isolation.
The Motu River is the North Island’s last remaining wilderness river, protected as a "Wilderness Zone" through an act of Parliament.
This 100km rafting journey to the sea will challenge and stimulate you with exciting grade 3 4 rapids. There is plenty of time to soak up the breath-takingly spectacular and pristine scenery.
By night relax around the campfire while your guide creates a tantilising culinary delight, as exploring the great outdoors does not mean enduring dehydrated food and all our guides are trained in the art of gourmet camp cooking.

Non-stop action and adventure with a combination of challenging experiences from a four-wheel drive excursion, helicopter ride to the very depths of the wilderness and exciting grade 3 4 whitewater rapids. This journey concludes with an exhilarating Jetboat journey to the coast.

- Day 1 - Meet at the Opotiki Holiday Park at 8.00am, before departing by Four Wheel Drive to the very sumit of the Toatoa Valley. From here Helicopter to the Upper Reaches of the Motu to access the white water action of the Upper Gorge rapids. Camp overnight between the Upper and Lower Gorges.
- Day 2 - Today we tackle the Lower Gorge rapids to White Rapid where we finish with an exhilarating Jetboat journey to the coast. From here we travel back to Opotiki by vehicle.

This 3 day Wilderness experience consists of a 4WD excursion to the Famous Motu Falls followed by 3 days of challenging grade 3-4 white water rapids, finishing with an exhilarating jetboat journey all the way to the coast.

The Upper Mohaka offers a range of laid back rafting adventures, breath-taking sub-alpine scenery, crystal clear mountain waters running from the Kaimanawa Ranges, beech forests right to the water's edge, with just the right touch of excitement and challenge.
Take a helicopter from Poronui Station for some of the best introductory wilderness rafting in New Zealand. We also carry a range of boats to suit every thrill level, including inflatable kayaks for a real taste of the action.
The Upper Mohaka is everything you could want in a holiday: action, adventure, fishing, exploring, natural hot springs and an array of culinary delights served round the campfire under a starry sky.
The Upper Mohaka offers a great range of moderate grades one to three rapids and should not be confused with the Lower Mohaka grade 5.

- Day 1 - Depart from De Bretts Holiday Park by vehicle to Helisika Base Helicopter to the Mohaka river. Raft grade 2-3 rapids while enjoying the scenery around you. Camp overnight by natural hot springs.
- Day 2 - Raft grade 2-3 rapids till the vehicle support point and travel back to the departure point.

Upper Mohaka 3 Day Excursion

- Day 2 - Set out on another exciting day of good grade 2-3 whitewater rafting as we travel through native bush, farmland and forestry. Once again we enjoy the wonders of nature, with a stop at the Mangatutu Natural hot spings, then travel on after a good soak to our next campsite.
