Departing daily from our base at Waitangi Beach we paddle up the sheltered
waters of the Waitangi Estuary to spend time exploring the mysterious mangrove
forest and visit Haruru Falls. Our experienced guides will ensure you have
a safe, educational and exciting eco-tour. This trip is suitable for all
ages, no experience necessary. Complimentary tea and coffee served at the
waterfall.

Day Guided Tour
Join the most unique and exciting sea kayaking adventure. In one day you'll
go to the deserted Motumaire Island where you can lie in the sun, swim,
snorkel or sample fresh shell fish, paddle past the historic Waitangi Treaty
Grounds and up the Waitangi Estuary to the mysterious mangrove forest. Spend
time paddling at leisure amongst the trees as experienced guides explain
this fascinating eco-system as well as pointing out the different fish and
bird life along the way. For added excitement you'll visit Haruru Falls
where you can test your skills if you wish by kayaking under the waterfall
before stopping for complimentary tea and coffee. Snorkel gear provided.
(You can bring your swimsuit & towel, camera in a plastic bag, and lunch).

Two
Day Harbour Wilderness (semi-guided)
This trip gives you the knowledge and safety of a guide for the first
day of your harbour wilderness expedition. You will experience the local
history, explore the mangrove forest, and challenge the Haruru Falls before
setting up camp at a secluded spot in the Waikare Inlet. Day two you are
free to explore the area in your own time before returning to Waitangi.
(Tents and cookers are available for a minimal charge).

Three
Day "Classic" Outer Islands (fully guided)
This trip takes in some of the best ocean sea kayaking in New Zealand.
Three days allows you time to explore the rugged coastline and the many
majestic islands with lagoons and quiet sandy beaches, and to experience
the wildlife along the way. Swimming, snorkeling, fishing and bush walks
all add up to this "classic" trip. Includes food, tents, cookers,
bring your own sleeping bag. Moderate fitness required.
