Group tour FAQs:

Q: How many people are likely to be on my tour?

A: It really depends on the style of travel you select. For small group and specialty tours the group size is usually limited to 8-14 people depending on the tour (further information is included in each itinerary). For other group tours the size of the group may be much larger.

Q: What does the tour price include?

A: Although all tours include your accommodation and transport, each tour is different with regards to meals and activities that are included. Please check the itinerary to see what is included or contact us. Items of a personal nature, such as laundry, phone calls, tipping, room service, optional excursions, wine & beverages, etc, are not included in tour and holiday costs and are your own responsibility. Tour and Holiday prices also exclude International and New Zealand departure taxes, customs and immigration fees.

Q: Is smoking permitted on coach tours?

A: Smoking on coaches in New Zealand is prohibited by Government legislation. However, adequate stops are made for the comfort of smokers. You should advise us if you are a smoker when you book your tour as many accommodation providers set aside accommodation especially for smokers and non-smokers.

Q: Should I have travel insurance?

A: Travel insurance is not included in your tour cost, but it is strongly recommended that insurance be taken out to protect you against cancellation charges, loss or damage of personal effects, ill health and medical expenses and any other unforeseen insurable events. Some specialty tours will also require you to show evidence of your travel insurance cover. Please discuss this with us at time of booking.
