DAY 1

Auckland

Formosa Country Club The imposing 6633m layout of Formosa Country Club was designed by New Zealand’s greatest golfer, Sir Bob Charles. It’s a true country club in every sense. With the course sprawling over 440 acres, the front nine is surrounded by rich farmland whilst the back nine features cliff top and coastal fairways. As many as fifteen holes provide panoramic vistas over the Hauraki Gulf, with holes 11 through 16 running along a cliff top.


DAY 2

Auckland

Titirangi Golf Club - No serious golfer should visit the North Island without playing New Zealand’s only Alister MacKenzie course. The club is proud of the precious legacy left by MacKenzie who visited in 1926 and originated the design. With its dramatic undulation, deep gullies, trees and especially its bunkering, the fairways are firm, fast and well drained, the subtle pure poa greens are generally large and can be extremely slick. 5771 metres (par 70) men, 5083 metres (par 72) ladies.

Kelly Tarltons Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World, the Native New Zealand Encounter Show at Auckland Zoo, cruise on the Pride Of Auckland Yacht, and look out over the views of Auckland from the Sky Tower.


DAY 3

Auckland

Gulf Harbour – North Auckland Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, this challenging 18 hole, 6483m par 72 course represents a unique opportunity for golf enthusiasts. Spectacular views, a gently rolling landscape and classic traditional values all combine to make this one of the most exiting courses in New Zealand. It tantalizes players of all levels of skill with a variety of holes, several of which feature risk and reward opportunities. A few areas flirt with the ocean and cliffs, requiring nerve and skill.


DAY 4

Auckland – Paihia Bay of Island

Travelling north via the Hibiscus Coast we arrive at The Bay of Islands. This sub-tropical region has the finest maritime park in New Zealand with 144 islands, secluded bays, and an abundance of marine life including marlin, whales, penguins, dolphins, gannets and many other species. Being somewhat sheltered, the area is ideal for yachting, fishing, kayaking and diving. Long considered the cradle of Polynesian and European settlement in New Zealand, the area is rich in history and natural beauty. Relax or choose one of the many activities available.


DAY 5

Paihia

Kauri Cliffs is a par 72 golf course measuring 6,412 metres (7,125 yards) offering four sets of tees to challenge every skill level. Fifteen holes view the Pacific Ocean – six are played alongside cliffs which plunge into the sea. The beautiful inland holes wind through marsh, forest and farmland. The golf complex includes a world class practice range, putting and chipping greens, a well stocked golf shop, and locker rooms.

Optional - Excitor Fast Boat - This 1 1/2 hour adventure combines high speed thrills with exploration of the best of the Bay of Islands. You'll see beautiful bays as you pass between the islands en route to Cape Brett. Pass through the awesome 'Hole in the Rock' and enter Grand Cathedral Cave.Enjoy the exhilaration of riding the waves in the fastest powerboat of its size in New Zealand!


DAY 6

Paihia - Rotorua

Rotorua - Explore this geothermal wonderland and Maori cultural centre of New Zealand with its geysers, bubbling mud pools and hot spring bath’s. Take some time out with a soak in the thermal waters of the renowned Polynesian Spa.


DAY 7

Rotorua

Tamaki Maori Village Feast and Concert - This is one of the best places in New Zealand to see and experience aspects of Maori culture. In a native forest we spend an evening sharing and feasting on a selection of foods cooked the traditional Maori way. An educational and enlightening experience, coupled with a concert, a ‘good feed’ and sing-along makes for a unique and fun experience!


DAY 8

Rotorua

Arikikapapa Golf Course has two individual courses. Its pride is the 18-hole Arikikapapa Course. Rebuilt in 1996, the 6328m long Arikikapapa offers an interesting round of golf with steam vents and geyser craters as natural hazards. Not a long, but still challenging, course set amidst Rotorua's thermal zone. Arikikapapa means "the sound of plopping mud".


DAY 9

Rotorua – Taupo

Optional - Triple Bypass - Includes The Zorb ( An exhilarating down hill ride) The Swoop (A daring 100kph plus swing bungy), The Agrojet (Adrenalin pumping sprint jet boat ride.

Lake Taupo is set amidst clean, green countryside, spectacular mountain scenery, beautiful native bush and some of the largest pine forests in the Southern Hemisphere. Thermal activity in this region includes natural hot pools and springs, steaming craters and boiling mud pools.

Wairakei International – Taupo - This Golf Course is set in the heart of the scenic Wairakei Tourist Park. This makes a round at the course a rare and challenging experience. It is ranked as one of the top 20 golf courses in the world. The air is crisp, clear and natural bird life abounds. There are plenty of fairway bunkers and hazards on this undulating course. Rated by US Golf Digest as in the top 20 courses outside the US.


DAY 10

Taupo – Napier

Optional - Taupo Tandem Skydiving - Jump from 12,000 ft whilst taking in the sights of the surrounding lake and mountains!

Napier The capital of the Hawkes Bay region, Napier is renowned for a beautiful coastline, stately Norfolk pines, a multitude of nearby wineries and 1930's art deco architecture. Since the mid-nineteenth century, Hawkes Bay has been recognised as a premium wine-growing centre.

Hawkes Bay in a glass - A wine tour of New Zealand’s premier wine producing regions. The Hawkes Bay is a veritable treasure trove of vineyards, offering wines of superlative quality, TAANZ and IATA licensed as a Branch Agency of Harvey World Travel many of which have won both national and international acclaim. Your tour is educational and fun you will visit four or five local wineries tasting some of the best wines in New Zealand.


DAY 11

Napier – Wellington

Cape Kidnappers - Atop towering cliffs above New Zealand’s Hawkes Bay lies a wild and thrilling golf adventure created by the hottest course architect of the decade – Tom Doak. Every hole has a view of the ocean, and incorporates several stunning fairways along the very edge of the cliff tops, siting greens where any ball that misses will plunge inevitably down 500 feet of sheer drop.

Wellington Cultural and Arts Capital - Set between a magnificent harbour and rolling green hills Wellington is a compact city where funky shops, exciting galleries and great restaurants are within easy walking distance. Home to the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the Royal New Zealand Ballet, opera companies, theatre and a large number of art galleries, including the National Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.


DAY 12

Wellington

Paraparaumu Golf Course – Kapiti Coast - A true links set in coastal sand dunes about one hour’s drive North of Wellington. With menacing pot bunkers, fast greens and lush rough waving in the wind, the course is a formidable challenge. Until the arrival of modern masterpieces Kauri Cliffs and Cape Kidnappers, Paraparaumu was rated the best course in the country, 99th in the world, and is still the top classic layout.

Optional - Lord of the Rings Tour - Visit locations in and around Greater Wellington used during filming of Lord of the Rings (LOTR) movies. This full day tour visits 7 locations, includes a picnic lunch, souvenir map and a friendly guide for the day as we explore the scenery of Middle Earth, Wellington.


DAY 13

Wellington - Kaikoura

Scenic Flight from Wellington to Kaikoura.

Kaikoura Kowhai Links Golf Course - Kaikoura - Nestled between the magnificent vista of the Seaward Kaikoura Mountains and the ocean waters of the Pacific Ocean, this wonderful 18-hole golf course offers something for every golfer whether you are a beginner or low handicapper. Enjoy a round of golf, while you take in the marvellous views and walk the irrigated fairways of the Kaikoura Links Golf Course is the ultimate way to wind down after an exciting day of marine mammal adventures.


DAY 14

Kaikoura - Christchurch

Whalewatching Kaikoura - The undersea world of Kaikoura beholds a vast array of wonderful and unique marine creatures from the smallest invertebrate through to the giant sperm whales.

Christchurch Highlights - International Antarctic Centre, Willowbank Wildlife Reserve, the Christchurch Tram and the Christchurch Gondola.


DAY 15

Christchurch

Clearwater Resort - This par 72 championship course is home to the NZPGA Championship. Designed by John Darby in consultation with New Zealand golfing legend, Sir Bob Charles, the course meanders around a succession of spring fed lakes with uninterrupted views of the spectacular Southern Alps.


DAY 16

Christchurch – Mt Cook

Braemar Station GolfCross - Located in the middle of New Zealand’s most spectacular alpine country, the Braemar Station GolfCross® Course is surrounded by stunning vistas of Mount Cook and Lake Pukaki. Your hosts run the Braemar Station GolfCross® course as part of their 63,000 acre cattle, deer and sheep farming operation.

Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park - On the scenic journey we pass the turquoise lakes of Alexandra, McGregor and Conway before reaching the majestic and peaceful Lake Tekapo and then onto Mt Cook. where we explore Mount Cook National Park and experience the mountainous drama of the Southern Alps.


DAY 17

Mt Cook - Wanaka

Wanaka is a picturesque jewel and is one of New Zealand's major ski and adventure destinations. Lake Wanaka runs away to the north of the lakeside town providing stunning views of Mt Aspiring National Park and the bush clad West Coast toward Haast Pass. The situation of the lake (to the north) enables sunshine to flood into the town even in mid winter providing a warm environment to enjoy leisurely pursuits.


DAY 18

Wanaka - Queenstown

Wanaka Golf Course - A picturesque alpine setting with views of the mountains and Lake Wanaka. This gem of a course s now established as a premier destination New Zealand Course featuring challenging golf and absolutely stunning scenery of Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps.

Queenstown - is the Southern Hemisphere's premiere four seasons alpine and lake resort. Nestled in the corner of Lake Wakatipu, framed by 360 degree vistas of snowcapped mountains Queenstown offers year round action-packed thrills, golfing, lake cruises, farm station visits, fishing and wine tasting.

DAY 19

Queenstown

Kelvin Heights Golf Course - About a par four across the lake from Queenstown waterfront this course occupies a rolling plateau atop the Kelvin Heights Peninsula. The course is all but encircled by the deep blue waters of Lake Wakatipu. offering golfers one of the most spectacular lake and mountain views in the world.

Queenstown Gourmet Wine Tour - Visiting five vineyards in Gibbston Valley, Bannockburn and Alexandra with lunch at Olivers of Clyde and a morning cheese platter. An excellent day out in the Central Otago wine region with time to visit Old Cromwell & Clyde and led by experienced and knowledgeable guides.


DAY 20

Queenstown

Millbrook Resort – Queenstown - 18 holes of ‘Magic’ is the best way to describe the course at Millbrook Resort. Set against the stunning alpine backdrop of the Remarkables Mountain range, the course offers at truly unique golfing experience. Designed by internationally renowned professional Sir Bob Charles.


DAY 21

Queenstown

Flight from Queenstown to Christchurch.

Terrace Downs Resort - A stunning 18 hole golf course of international standard, rated among the top 3 in New Zealand. A par 72 course, designed to inspire and delight golfers at all levels of competency. Set on the edge of the Rakaia Gorge, just south of Christchurch at 450m altitude, against a backdrop of snowdusted Alps and golden tussocked foothills, soak up the views and ambience of the surroundings.
